Carver Military Academy is the leading public military academy in the nation. Carver provides personalized academic support, fosters leadership and empowers all cadets to be college-ready and independent and active citizens.Carver is also considered as the Jewel of South-side. Service Leadership Academy

Application Requirements
All applicants: Minimum combined percentile of 48 in reading and math on NWEA MAP.

Attendance at an Information Session is required for eligible applicants.
Selections
Eligible students must complete an Information Session, during which they will sign a Commitment Agreement, complete a Motivation and Perseverance Assessment and write a brief essay. Selections will be based on a point system with a maximum of 500 points, derived from 7th grade final (cumulative) grades (100 points), 7th grade NWEA MAP scores (100 points), the GRIT survey (200 points), and the essay (100 points).
