Jovita Idár, which opened in 2011, serves 565 students from kindergarten to eighth grade. The school earned a Level 1 SQRP rating in 2018 and prides itself on a rigorous curriculum, an individualized approach and strong parent partnerships. Students can participate in basketball and volleyball, Jazz Dance Group, Art Club, Math Club, Writing Club and a to name a few.  We also have the only elementary Mariachi band in Chicago:  Mariachi Los Pumas!

 

Acero Schools provide a strong academic foundation for students at the elementary level to help them master the fundamental skills necessary for success in high school and beyond.
