To find LSC seats you may be eligible to run for, search a school name to view its attendance boundary, or search your home address to view nearby schools. You must live within a school’s attendance boundary or voting district to apply for LSC membership as a community member. Parents may also apply for LSC membership at the school their child attends.
Please note: For schools with an Appointed Local School Council (ALSC), a non-binding parent and teacher poll is conducted to advise the Board on possible appointments. For military academies with a Board of Governors (BOG), a non-binding poll of the parents, teachers and JROTC Instructor is conducted to advise the Board on possible candidates.
